 Mutton Phaliyan Recipe

Time to start our recipe

Today we are going to cook fenugreek mutton, which is a staple food in every home and tastes great. So today I will present this recipe in a positive light. See what we need for this. I have taken a pressure cooker and filled it with 1.5 kg of meat. As you can see, the mutton is fresh. I had no idea I would be sharing this recipe with you. I'm going to add three cloves, two cinnamon sticks, a big cardamom, salt and ground coriander.

I am taking one tablespoon of ginger and garlic paste here. Ginger is a bit high in this dish. A spoonful of ginger paste is saved for later use. I'm just going to add a tablespoon of ground green chilies. I am now adding about five medium sized onions. Mix together and steam to soften our mutton.

I took it out of the freezer and added it to the pot, but you may not need to do this step. I will give it some time to melt completely. Now that it has decomposed, it has changed color. Now we are going to evaporate the water. I will add about 1 liter of water and cook it for 15 minutes so that it becomes soft when the water is completely gone. Friends, chicken can also be used to cook this. I used mutton, but feel free to substitute chicken and just adjust the cooking time. It's been fifteen minutes. Let us now examine the tenderness of the mutton.

As soon as I lifted the lid, a beautiful aroma filled the room. The last step is yet to come. Imagine the smell, how wonderful. Using a spoon, I checked it and it is quite soft. When we eat it, it should be as silky as silk because we will keep it incredibly soft.

Make sure it is not so muddy that it becomes crumbly and lumpy. Now proceed. I'm going to remove the bones and remove the mutton to a bowl. I have a cup of clarified butter (ghee) in a pressure cooker. I am making it with ghee, but you can use oil if you want. I'll add three tomatoes that I've made into a fine pulp, four or five green chilies, and the rest of the ginger paste. We will also add the spices we used earlier. Stir this masala well and cook.

We will add dry spices after roasting. I am going to add one tablespoon of red chili powder and one teaspoon of turmeric. Mix everything together and cook. Cook till the oil starts separating and the water in the masala evaporates. As you can see, guys, the masala is fried well.

Now let's talk about fenugreek beans. These are called green beans in some places, and you may find better varieties in other states. This method works for any type of cooking. The beans will now fry for 6 to 7 minutes, or until they change color and have completely absorbed the spice of the masala.

Guys, look at the beautiful colors. As you can see, the beans are fried well and the oil has separated. Now I will add the shredded mutton. Let it cook for another 6 to 7 minutes. As you can see, the oil has separated and the beans are cooked. We are going to add the mutton that we put aside at the end because it was fully cooked and couldn't be cooked any more. Finally add it and mix well.

I will taste the ground black pepper after mixing well. I'll just add two or three pinches. You can see how awesome it looks. We can eat food immediately because it is ready. It smells quite good. I'm going to give it a final ferment now and suggest serving it. Guys now I'm going to transfer it to the serving bowl. I'll give you a nice close-up on the move, and then I'll be gone.
